Today I'm channelling... Tamara Mellon

"The definition of a feminist is someone who wants equal. That's all it is, it's equal. There's nothing wrong with asking for equal."

  1. Hi, enjoyed your article in Sunday's Stella magazine. I'm in the position that you were in around a year ago. I'm stepping down from a senior role at the end of March, in need of a change or a break and am beginning to make plans. Your advice was incredibly timely.

  2. V glad you liked it. I won't pretend first few months were easy, but so worth sticking with it in long run.

  3. Hi, just read your Telegraph article. I left a senior job in 2005 and completely reasonate with your findings. I now design gardens, teach and write but the balance is always changing. I have the freedom to organise my own life and am only responsible for myself. My holidays are short and infrequent but life is no longer about yearning for holidays. I am much worse off financially but feel in control of my life and my direction of travel. It's great!

  4. I really identify with what you're saying about holidays. They are fewer, but you rely on them less. So glad you liked the piece.
